President Trump announced Thursday night that he and first lady Melania Trump had tested positive for coronavirus. This announcement comes after a very heated and controversial presidential debate in which Trump called out former vice-president Biden for wearing the biggest mask ever in unnecessary moments. After months of fighting COVID 19, there is no doubt that the mask’s use is necessary and a weapon we have against this virus to protect others’ lives. As the CDC reported in their portal, “wearing a mask helps prevent a sick person from spreading the virus to others. It helps keep respiratory droplets contained and from reaching other people.”
The diagnostic of president Trump’s health arose many doubts about the future of Trump’s presidential campaign. It is uncertain what will happen as he will not attend some of the rallies that were plan for the upcoming weeks. Dr. Sean P. Conley, the White House physician, expressed in a statement released October 1st that “The president and first lady are both well at this time, and they plan to remain at home within the White House during their convalescence.”
The Wall Street Journal informed that President Trump moved to a hospital facility on Friday and that officials cancel White House events and postpone travel.
The biggest question that many people ask in social media is, “Will be able to attend the second presidential debate? The answer will depend on the evolution of President Trump’s health.
